I have been going to Julia's classes for about eight or nine years now, and think she is a brilliant teacher.
The classes are friendly and fun and she welcomes all ages, sizes and abilities. Her technique is excellent and she always gets the best out of you. Since doing Julia's classes I feel that my posture and core strength have improved considerably...

Julia manages to combine professionalism with fun. I always feel well looked after, part of a welcoming group of people and the time just flies. Julia ensures whatever your ability or mobility that you get the most from the class and leave feeling stretched, more toned and relaxed. The best Pilates teacher you could have.

My early background was in dance, having trained in classical ballet from the age of five to 20. After having a family I began my career in the fitness industry in earnest – teaching Step Aerobics and Body Balance. I discovered Pilates in 2002 – a whole body fitness discipline based on controlled, careful movements. Having taught Pilates for a number of years I have seen its benefits first hand — from its rehabilitating effects on individuals with sports injuries to improving the general well-being of people of all ages.

I completed my Level 3 Pilates in 2008 and have significant experience in dealing with people of all ages and levels of ability, either on a one-to-one basis or in exercise classes. Being able to exercise in a relaxed, welcoming environment is very important to me and I pride myself on the friendly, warm atmosphere of all my classes.

Whatever you hope to gain from Pilates – be it weightloss, recovery from an injury or if you simply want to have fun – get in contact and arrange a one-to-one lesson or to find a class near you.
